Activities to mitigate business risks due to Corona virus

The Corona virus is spreading across the world with increasing speed and it seems like this situation will be a challenge to business operations for a longer time. Many governments are taking actions to get the infections rate under control.
However, we have taken as well various measures to keep our operations stable and secure our ability to deliver our products to you in the way you are used to. • Internally we have undertaken a number of health and safety measures to guarantee the operations in both – our factory and in administrative departments to limit the risk of infections. o Expansion of our hygiene standards o Communication shifted to phone, videoconference instead of personal meetings o Rigorous instructions towards employees to move to quarantine and testing in case of any symptoms
• Regarding our supply chain we have secured availability of all our raw materials by closing respective contracts.
• Freight capacities have already started to become an enormous challenge.
We try to manage this situation as good as possible. However, this is very dynamic and the issue we are facing today might be even more critical in the time to come. The current instructions of governmental organisations will have a significant impact as well on supply chains. Because it is very difficult to foresee the problems to come we have to declare a Force Majeure event. Please accept we might not be able to avoid any potential delays due to e.g. additional controls and health checks at certain borders. All given delivery terms are subject to an undisputed delivery chain and any additional cost related to the current Force Majeure situation will be charged at cost.
These times are unparalleled for all of us. Be assured that we will do our utmost to limit any inconvenience for you to a minimum.
